What will we see in this post

Another year comes to an end with the feeling of having fulfilled our duties here at Hotmart.

We achieved our aims, set new records and important milestones to our history, such as the inauguration of the new offices in Mexico and Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

But we assure you that, more satisfying than these achievements, were the achievements of everyone who are a part of this ecosystem on a daily basis:

  • Producers,
  • Co-Producers,
  • Affiliates,
  • Buyers,
  • Providers,
  • Partners,
  • Troopers.

In 2018, the democratization of knowledge became more attainable, several people became entrepreneurs, we told more inspiring stories and opened up more borders.

Every day, every month and every year we move forward in our purpose to enable more people to make a living out of their passions.

Our 2018 retrospective is not just about our own history, but about the history of millions of people who are impacted by the technology, knowledge, and entertainment generated by Hotmart, every single day! We can’t wait for 2019!

We were, once again, in LinkedIn’s Top Startups list, this time as one of the 25 most sought-after startups to work for in Brazil!

GPTW – 10 top companies to work for

Hotmart is among the top 10 companies to work for in Minas Gerais in the medium-sized category, according to Great Place To Work.

Endeavor Entrepreneurs

João Pedro Resende and Mateus Bicalho, respectively CEO and CTO at Hotmart, have become Endeavor Entrepreneurs, approved at the international panel of the organization, held in Milan, Italy, in June.

FIRE Festival

Our team has held over 65 events this year in quite a few countries, and of course, there was the one and only FIRE festival 2018.

A great celebration of knowledge, innovation, entertainment, entrepreneurship, and fun.

During 3 days, participants were able to learn a lot from our great lectures and share unique experiences at the event in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Moreover, prizes were given to Producers who excelled.

We have a place for you!

If there’s a fact that clearly shows how much we’ve grown in 2018 is the number of hires. And if this can be used as a parameter, by the end of 2019, maybe we’ll need to look for a new headquarters.

Only in 2018, we:

  • Hired 145 new Troopers;
  • Closed a deal on fifteen international contracts;
  • Got 3 expatriate Troopers!

In 2019, we expect to have more than 150 open positions here at Hotmart!

Hotmart is taking over the world!

We’ve been all around the world in 2018.

In addition to the sales our Producers and Affiliates have made in 210 countries, Hotmart has been expanding its borders.

With events like Hotmart Start Bogotá, sales actions like Grow, profit and Grow further and Hotmart Summer Campaign and studies that were conducted in new markets, this year we have opened another office in one more country: Mexico!

Moreover, we have told inspiring stories of entrepreneurs who have become successful cases, such as in Spain and Mexico.

Community & Education

This new team was put together this year at Hotmart and it has surpassed all expectations.

In order to help more and more people enter the digital market, the Community & Education team create new methods to enable new users in the most effective and relevant way possible.

Hotmart Camp Community Editions were held in several cities including one in Lisbon, Portugal and they were attended by more than 500 satisfied students (more than 90% NPS).

On top of the events, the team currently shares 4 hours of new content on a weekly basis!

Hotmart Ecosystem

This year our user’s sales have grown so much!

Our Customer Experience team – which takes care of the user’s journey –  created sales incentive campaigns such as Hotmart’s Black Friday, which set record sales.

New Products

In 2018 our products have gone through important updates yet again, while our portfolio has also increased considerably.

One of the biggest highlights is Hotmart Analytics, which tracked more than 927 million visits to registered pages and received new upgrades.

Startup Cup

Finally, in 2018, our football teams made us so proud!

The girls, participating for the first time, scored so many goals and won 3rd place!

Our men’s team, after facing a few obstacles on their first tournament, won the Startup Cup Champion award with an epic campaign!

The word that is heard and used all the time at Hotmart, and that’s how we do things.

And rest assured, all the love that is given is also received, especially through our social media channels. Whether it comes from users, readers or even by those who simply care for our brand.

In 2018, here are our social media statistics:

  • Over 600,000 fans and followers
  • Over 100,000 followers on Instagram;
  • More than 40,000 followers on LinkedIn;
  • Almost 50,000 new subscribers on YouTube – 300% growth.

Our customer service team also had a record year. The team has grown and In 2018, more than 450 thousand requests were answered in our Support!

Facts and figures

When trying to meet our goals in 2018, we came across some fun facts we’d like to share:

In 2018, our Operations team:

  • Fullfield 4,974 purchase requests;
  • Bought nothing less than 2,312 cookie packages;
  • 1,813 bottles of soda;
  • 1,462 packets of coffee.

For the construction of the New Headquarters, we had:

  • 142 suppliers acting directly and indirectly in the building site;
  • 10.3 tons of floor installed;
  • 294sqm of glass installed;
  • 70 employees working in the construction at the same time.

Our Technology team reported that they fight, really well we might add, about 30 thousand cyber threats trying to breach our network on a daily basis.

We have lots of reasons to celebrate, don’t we?
