A traffic campaign involves testing, content, the product, the offer, and ad creativity. In the end, a lot of factors influence the success of a campaign.

With his experience in the digital market, Pedro Sobral has noticed five repeating elements in all successful campaigns. So, let’s take a look at them?

1- You are not someone else

The first thing to keep in mind for you to create an ad that is impossible to ignore is: you are not someone else. Be natural!

You don’t have to create a character or pretend to be something you’re not. The ads that convert and yield the most results are spontaneous.

Are you embarrassed to make videos and put yourself out there online?

There’s no magic formula. The strategy is to learn by doing it, it takes time. This means recording videos at home and honing this skill every day.

A tip from Sobral is to answer messages from your friends and family with videos. This will help make you feel more natural in front of the camera. Give it a shot! It really works!

2- You are not Netflix, and you don’t need to be

The second tip for making ads that are impossible to ignore is to remember that you’re not Netflix and you don’t have to try to be Netflix or a major movie maker.

Do you have an idea in your head and a cell phone in hand? Then you’re ready to create ads and get great results.

To make good ads you don’t need a professional studio.

3- Everything it’s right square

Sobral’s tip number 3 is “everything in its right square.” What are you talking about Pedro?

What he means is each social media has its own format and you’ve got to respect the appropriate format for each medium.

Facebook, Instagram, Stories, YouTube, they all have specific ad formats.

For example, should the video be horizontal, perfectly square, or vertical widescreen? Your campaign has to respect each format.

4- Activate the “ah, he’s talking to me”

The next tip is more of a feeling.

You know when you see an ad and think “this guy is talking to me!”? That perfect video, which looks like it was made especially for you?

This is Sobral’s tip 4: use triggers to identify and connect with your audience and grab their attention.

They need to feel like the ad is talking directly to them. This really helps your chances of converting.

5- The more, the merrier. Be a crazy scientist

To finalize our list to create ads that are impossible to ignore, tip 5 is “the more the merrier. Be a crazy scientist.”

What matters are the results generated by the ads. Always be testing new things out and come up with new creative.

Pedro Sobral says that we never know which is the best creative, the best ad, until we test all the options. So always test, produce new creatives, and unleash your imagination!

So, what do you think of Pedro Sobral’s 5 tips for ads that will bring you traffic?
