What are Hotmart Communities?
Communities are spaces within the Members Area where you can interact directly with customers. It’s like having a private social network, specially designed to strengthen relationships with those who already consume your content.
There, you can create discussion topics, share exclusive content, encourage exchanges between members and even make important announcements. All without having to leave your digital product environment.
You can create free and open communities to attract buyers and communicate with customers who have already bought one of your products, or you can create paid communities to distribute exclusive content to subscribers.
Using Hotmart Club, the members’ area within Hotmart, not only offers a space for your students to consume your content, but also makes it possible to bring your communities together in one place.
How to create and manage your Hotmart Club Community
Creating your Community is quick and easy. Check out the step-by-step instructions:
- Log in to your Hotmart account via the following link: https://app.hotmart.com/
- In the side menu click on Products, then on Members area.
- Select the member area where you want to add the community.
- In the side menu, click on Communities.
- Select Create community.
- Define the objective of your community, which could be to get closer to your audience or, for paid communities, to increase your income. Then click on “Continue”.
- Give it a name, define the description and choose who can join (for example, students from a specific course).
- Customize it with a cover image and social rules, if you like.
- Click on Publish and that’s it! Your Community will be active in the Club.
You can also create different topics within the Community, organize fixed content and interact with members in real time.

If you already use Sparkle to connect with your audience, it’s important to know that the Communities there will be discontinued. But don’t worry! The Communities feature is now fully integrated into the Hotmart Members Area, in the Hotmart Club, with an even more complete experience designed for your digital business.
As of July 2025, all Hotmart Communities will be centralized in the Club. Until then, you can import your current Sparkle community with a few clicks, keeping the content and its members active.
Important: By importing to Hotmart Club, you ensure that your students continue to access the content without interruption, in an integrated environment with greater engagement.
